Ukulele musicians will be on hand July 9 for a day of family fun, music and food.

It's almost time for the 7th Annual Ukulele Festival at Lake Anne, and everyone's invited to the free festival on Saturday, July 9.
Several acclaimed ukulele musicians will be on hand for music demonstrations, a morning jam session, vendors and other family activities, according to a statement.
"The event features a wide variety of music genres ranging from blues, traditional Hawaiian, swing, and folk. Each group will lead festival goers in a strum-a-long session that will be fun for all ages," the statement adds. "Individuals are welcome to bring their ukuleles or pick up one at the festival and enjoy learning the tiny instrument."
