Prominent Chain Earls Kitchen + Bar Opening New Tysons Location

The new restaurant, coming to the plaza level of the VITA apartment building in Tysons Corner Center, is slated to open in October.

Prominent North American restaurant company Earls Kitchen + Bar is opening its first Mid-Atlantic location at Tysons Corner Center this fall.

The new upscale-casual restaurant will operate out of the plaza level of the 30-story VITA luxury apartment building near Metrorail’s Silver Line at 7902 Tysons One Place in McLean.

The restaurant’s official opening is slated for sometime in October. This will be Earls’ sixth location in the U.S. to complement more than 50 locations in Canada.

The restaurant will open for lunch and dinner at 11:30 a.m. each day and will use an all-day menu in addition to a special brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Executive Chef Ryan Spicknell will oversee the staff at the Tysons location, and the menu at the new Earls location will feature a few dishes exclusive to Tysons Corner, including the coriander crusted albacore tuna with black jasmine rice, vegetable caponata and artichoke-basil puree.

And for those wondering why there’s no apostrophe in the restaurant’s name, it’s named after founder Leroy Earl Fuller and his son, CEO Stan Earl Fuller. That’s why the name is plural and not possessive.
