Town Begins Replacing Turf at Waters Field

Work should be completed by Dec. 11.

The Town of Vienna began replacing the turf at Waters Field Monday, according to a news release from the Town.

The field at Center and Cherry streets will be closed throughout installation, which is expected to be completed by Dec. 11. Work on the field will be undertaken, weather permitting, from 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. weekdays; some work may be done on Saturdays as well.

The artificial turf that is being replaced was installed about 10 years ago, says Vienna Parks and Recreation Director Leslie Herman.
