'Firehose' Of Rain Headed For Puget Sound, National Weather Service Predicts

Some Puget Sound cities could see up to 2 inches of rain early this week, according to the National Weather Service.

BELLEVUE, WA - We're in for another soaking this week, according to the latest National Weather Service forecast. Cities around Puget Sound are forecast to get anywhere from 1 to 2 inches of rain through Tuesday.

For comparison, 2 inches of rain is equivalent to nearly 26 inches of snow.

Areas near the Cascades - like Enumclaw and Gold Bar - will see higher rainfall totals, while cities in the Tacoma could get totals in the 1.3-inch range. Around Lake Washington from Seattle to Bellevue, about 1 inch is predicted to fall.
