Driver Dies After Crashing Into SR 167 Embankment
A driver suffered a medical issued in the northbound lanes of SR 167 Friday afternoon.
AUBURN, WA - A female driver suffered a medical issue and died while driving northbound on SR 167 Friday evening, according to Washington State Patrol. The incident happened just before 5 p.m. in the northbound lanes of SR 167 near 15th Street, which is just south of the SR 18 interchange. State patrol reported the passenger in the vehicle, Mickeal Schell, 28, of Four Lakes, was uninjured.
The driver was not immediately identified by state patrol, but was a 35-year-old woman from Spokane.
Update on NB 167 at 15th collision. Driver deceased/ passenger unresponsive. Medical cause so crash didn't cause injuries. Expect delays.
