Several Boats Sink In Large Fire At Everett Marina: Video
Five boats caught on fire and four sunk during the Saturday night fire in Everett.

EVERETT, WA - Five boats caught fire and four sank during a fire at a marina in Everett on Saturday night. The fire broke out around 7:30 p.m. at a marina near the downtown area north of the Puget Sound Naval Complex. Thick black smoke could be seen for miles emanating from the marina, however the fire had reportedly been extinguished by about 8:30 p.m.

The fire necessitated a second alarm, according to reports from the scene. One person was injured in the fire, and the state Department of Ecology responded to contain any environmental damage.
Everett Fire is currently on scene of a fire in the 1700 W Marine View Drive, South Marina dock. Info will be released as it becomes avail.
