Halloween is just around the corner, and local trick-or-treaters of ages are on the hunt for their costumes.
This year, the most sought-after trend at Halloween City has been , according to store manager, Kevin Marcuson.
"Pirates are also popular because of the Pirates of the Caribbean movie," he said.
Ninjas, clowns and historical getups are also among the favorites at the store.
For women, Marcuson said "sexy" versions of professional uniforms such as military and nurses are his top sellers, and women are more likely to dress up than men.
On the other hand, shoppers have shied away from scary costumes and masks and even some classic choices.
"Witches are always big, but they're not dominating," he said.
