Channel Your Inner Zombie at Kirkland’s Thriller Dance Classes

Kirkland Parks is taking signups for classes to get you ready for a Zombie Dance Party in Redmond on Oct. 27.

Editor's Note: The following is a City of Kirkland press release.

----

KIRKLAND, Wash. – Unearth some fun this fall and learn the iconic Michael Jackson dance - THRILLER! - that took the world by storm. The North Kirkland Community Center’s un-dead dance instructors know all of the ghoulish moves that won’t necessarily make you human, but will at least have you on your rotting feet doing the thriller dance in three short classes.

Join forces with Kirkland Zombie wannabes on Sunday, Sept. 30, Oct. 7, and Oct 21 from 1:30-3:00 pm, , 12421 103rd Ave NE.

After you learn the dance, you can show off and kick it with your un-dead Redmond friends at Redmond Town Center on Saturday, Oct. 27 for the Eastside Thrill the World Zombie Dance Party, or crawl to one of the many ghoulish events going on around the greater Seattle area.

Cost is $15 for residents and $18 for non-residents.  Registration is available online at www.kirklandparks.net or by calling (425) 587-3336 (Course code #37583.)  For questions about the program contact the North Kirkland Community Center at 425-587-3350.
