Semi Smashes Into House After Driver Suffers 'Medical Issue'
The crash happened Sunday afternoon in Roy, according to Washington State Patrol.

ROY, WA - A semi smashed into a house here on Sunday after the driver suffered a medical issue, according to Washington State Patrol. The crash happened around 6 p.m. Sunday evening south of downtown Roy near the intersection of 342nd Street, according to police. The driver of the semi was injured, but no one inside the house was hurt.
According to state police, Scott McCabe, 44, of Modesto, Calif., was driving northbound along SR 507 when he lost control of semi, and then struck a home at 34325 SR 507. The home was seriously damaged, according to photos from the scene.

Although the exact cause of the accident is still under investigation, state police said that McCabe likely suffered a medical issue just before the crash. The roadway was blocked for about two hours.
