Tuesday, Nov. 6 is Election Day, and you waited until the last minute to vote. Here are some ways to make sure your vote counts in Redmond.

Where Can I Vote in Redmond?

Tuesday, Nov. 6 is Election Day. Where in Redmond can you drop your ballot?

King County votes through mail-in ballots, but your vote doesn't count if it's still sitting on your coffee table at 8 p.m. Nov. 6. There are numerous ways in Redmond to make sure that your vote counts.

Ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 6 or returned to a  drop-box or  Accessible Voting Center by 8 p.m. Nov. 6.

Mail it

You can mail your ballot to the county through the U.S. Postal Service from your closest mailbox. Make sure that you have placed a first-class stamp on it, and that you have placed your ballot inside the security envelope as well as the return envelope.

Drop it off

You can drop off your ballots in front of Redmond City Hall, 15670 NE 85th St., at the drop box located in the center drive. The box can be accessed from your car or on foot.

Vote in person

King County conducts its elections by mail, so registered voters should have received a ballot to fill out at home. However, if you need assistance voting, the accessible voting center at Bellevue City Hall is open through Election Day.

These locations are open to all voters, but are primarily for voters with disabilities who have trouble filling out the ballots mailed to their homes.

Voters casting a ballot at an accessible voting center must either show a photo ID or sign a declaration. The signature on the declaration must match the signature in the voter registration record, according to the county.

On Tuesday, Nov. 6, Election Day, the center will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Bellevue City Hall is at 450 110th Avenue NE, Bellevue, WA.

Need help with your ballot?

The Elections headquarters phone bank is also open Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Voters may call 206-296-VOTE (8683) for assistance. For more information, visit the  Elections website, or call 206-296-VOTE (8683).
