Issaquah Man Dies After Car Rolls, Catches Fire
The crash happened early Friday morning along SR 900 in Renton.

RENTON, WA - A 55-year-old Issaquah man died in a crash early Friday morning along SR 900 in Renton. The man, identified by state police as Richard Carothers, died after his car rolled into a field and caught fire. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
According to a state police report, Carothers was driving eastbound along SR 900 near 171st Place Southeast - which is just west of May Valley Road - when his car, a 2006 BMW 325, left the road, rolled several times, and then became "fully engulfed."
