Small Plane Crashes In Renton Parking Lot
A small Cessna crashed Friday after hitting some trees near Renton Memorial Stadium. Both people inside escaped with minor injuries.
RENTON, WA — Two people were injured Friday after a small plane hit some trees and crash-landed in a parking lot near Renton Memorial Stadium, according to police. Both people inside the plane appeared to have only minor injuries.
According to the fire department, the crash prompted a large emergency response from Renton Fire, Boeing Fire and the Renton Police Department. The stadium is located directly southeast of the Renton Municipal Airport, just across the Cedar River.

Renton Fire said both people were evaluated by medics, and police had secured the scene.
