Adopt This Pet: Buddy & Charlie

These cute hound puppies are looking for forever homes, either together or separately.

Adopt This Pet: Buddy & Charlie

Buddy and Charlie are adorable hound mixes. They are brother and sister and were rescued from an animal shelter in Idaho. They are well behaved and fun.  They want to go on walks (need a little work still) and fetch a tennis ball.

Instead of buying a dog from a breeder, consider saving a dog that was given a second chance.  With their floppy ears and sweet dispositions, you will fall in love with them in a second. Both Charlie and Buddy are about 6 months old so they will grow probably into medium-sized dogs. They can be adopted together or separately as they love other dogs and happily play with everyone! NO cats please, though! And elementary aged or older children are best since they do have typical puppy behavior that can be hard on little ones.

Don’t let the winter pass by without sharing it with a rescue dog.

If you are interested in meeting Buddy and Charlie and giving them the best years of their life, please  email 11th Hour at dogfarm@gmail.com or go on their Petfinder.com website at http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/WA233.html to obtain an adoption application.  There is an adoption donation for each animal in order to cover expenses, neutering and transportation, and also to allow the volunteers to continue their animal rescue work.  All dogs are already spayed/neutered, checked by a veterinarian and given their vaccinations.

11th Hour Animal Rescue and Sanctuary in Issaquah  is a small, independent collection of animals and animal lovers. Founded in 2004, they are a safe haven for animals of all kinds including dogs, llama's, alpacas, and goats. They are dedicated to the rescue of animals that would otherwise face a certain death in high kill shelters across the nation. Their focus is saving dogs that are down to their last hours and in urgent need of rescue.

11th Hour does not have a brick and mortar shelter, but instead works with loving foster families to keep the dogs until permanent homes are found.  All dogs have been vaccinated and spayed and neutered. Any donations go toward the continued efforts of their rescue work.

Editor's note: 11th Hour reports has been adopted!
