Fire Near Issaquah Damages Log Cabin Home
The fire broke out just before midnight on Sunday near Poo Poo Point.

ISSAQUAH, WA - Fire crews battled a fire Sunday night in a log cabin located off of Issaquah-Hobart Road.
The fire was reported around 11:40 p.m. Sunday in the home located along Southeast 127th Street, a gravel road that leads from Issaquah-Hobart Road into Tiger Mountain State Forest. There are no hydrants in the area, so Eastside Fire and Rescue firefighters used tanker trucks to fight the fire; a tanker from Maple Valley was brought in to assist.
The family and its pets got out of the home safely, according to the fire department. Firefighters had the fire largely under control after about 40 minutes.
