Sammamish Ranked One of the 'Safest' Places In U.S.

SAMMAMISH, WA - The website Neighborhood Scout has ranked Sammamish one of the safest communities in the U.S. - and it was the only city from Washington on the list.

Sammamish came in No. 35 out of 100 cities and towns around the U.S. On a 100-point index, Sammamish scored an 80. Only cities with a population of 1,000 or more were included on the list.

Neighborhood Scout uses data from the FBI and the U.S. Census Bureau to calculate relative safety scores. You can learn more about Sammamish's score on the city's page.
