Sheriff's Officers Find Stolen Truck, Equipment Worth $40K Near Union Hill

A stolen truck and equipment valued at $40,000 were recovered by King County Sheriff's officers on Feb. 7 in unincorporated Redmond.

King County Sheriff's officials said they located over $40,000 in stolen goods — including a red commercial truck — belonging to Merlino Construction in unincorporated King County earlier this month.

Sheriff's deputies received information on Feb. 7 that a suspicious red truck was parked at a residence in the 7100 block of 254th Avenue NE, just west of Union Hill in unincorportated King County near Redmond.  

When deputies arrived, they found a red truck and after an investigation discovered that the truck had been stolen from Merlino Constructin on October 30. 

Deputies also recovered two compacters and other tools which had also been stolen from Merlino Construction on the same day.

The recovered items are valued at over $40,000.
