Body Of Man Missing In Seattle's Lake Union Found
The 36-year-old man was located Monday morning, Seattle police reported.
SEATTLE, WA - Seattle police divers have located the body of a 36-year-old man who went missing Sunday morning after either falling or jumping off a boat in Lake Union. The incident happened just before 7 a.m. Sunday along the western shore of the lake. Firefighters and police divers searched for the man all day Sunday but were unable to immediately locate him.
Passengers aboard the boat told police that the man jumped into the water, but witnesses on the shore said that the boat he was riding on suddenly sped up, and the man fell off.
The victim's identity and cause of death will be released later by the King County Medical Examiner.
