Fire At Seward Park Area Marina: 1 Injured, Dog Left Homeless
The fire broke out late Sunday at the Lakewood Moorage. Police found a dog at the scene who was displaced by the blaze.
SEATTLE, WA - A fire broke out Sunday night at a marina north of Seward Park, damaging multiple boats, leaving one man injured, and at least one dog without a home.
The fire broke out at the Lakewood Moorage, 4500 Lake Washington Blvd South, at around 9:30 p.m. Firefighters arrived to find three boats on fire, but were able to put the flames within about 20 minutes.
A 59-year-old man sustained minor injuries and was taken to Harborview for treatment. A Seattle police officer stayed with his dog who was left homeless after the fire.

On Monday morning, fire investigators ruled the cause of the fire "undetermined." The fire caused about $200,000 in damage.
