Police Use Taser On Man Who Assaulted Seattle Ferry Worker

The incident happened early Monday morning at the Colman Dock in downtown Seattle, according to police.

SEATTLE, WA - A 28-year-old man assaulted a Colman Dock ferry worker and two state troopers in an incident early Monday morning. One of the troopers had to use a Taser to subdue the man.

According to police, the ferry worker was assaulted around 12:15 a.m. Monday. She was treated at the scene for injuries to her a back, wrist, face and and elbow.

After troopers arrested the man, he asked to go to the bathroom. The troopers took him to a bathroom and let him out of handcuffs. That's when he turned on them and started a fight.

After he was tased, the suspect was taken to the King County Jail on felony assault charges, according to WSP.
