See International Space Station Tonight In Western Washington
Clear skies tonight will give Puget Sound residents two chances to catch a glimpse of the International Space Station.

SEATTLE, WA - The sky will be clear over most of Western Washington tonight - just in time to see the International Space Station pass by on Sunday evening.
The space station will pass over the Seattle area at 5:52 p.m. from the northwest sky. It will pass by again at 7:29 p.m. from the west south-west sky, according to the National Weather Service.

According to NASA, the space station looks like an airplane moving across the sky - but its light stays constant instead of flashing. It will also be moving very fast at about 17,500 MPH.

The times quoted by the National Weather Service are for Seattle only. Viewing times north or south of Seattle may vary by a minute or two. For example, the space station will fly over Lakewood beginning at 5:54 p.m. rather than 5:52 p.m., according to NASA.
