Transgender Legal Assistance Available In Seattle Tonight

Legal clinic will guide people through name and gender marker changes.

SEATTLE, WA - A comprehensive legal clinic tonight in Seattle organized by the Gender Justice League will help guide local residents through legal tasks associated with a gender change, including changing drivers licenses, birth certificates, and social security cards.

Organizers describe the event as a "one stop shop" where attendees can meet with attorneys to better understand legal forms. There will also be medical professionals available who can write letters for gender marker changes. If you meet income guidelines, there's legal assistance available to file paperwork.

The clinic was organized by the Gender Justice League in association with the Q-Law Legal Foundation, Teller & Associates, U.T.O.P.I.A., and the King County Bar Association.
