Where do you live now and how long have you lived there? In University Place since 1996.

 

Spouse or domestic partner if any: Married since 1996 to Teresa Nye

 

Children: Two boys, Michael and Patrick

Bachelor of Arts degree (cum laude) from Niagara University in Political Science and Criminal Justice (1985).  Internship with Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Washington D.C (1983).   Special Forces Qualification Course and US Army Ranger School (1987-89).

 US Army, Captain (1985-92)

Special Forces commander (1990-92)

Director of Fircrest Golf Club.  Member of US Congressman Adam Smith’s Technology Advisory Board. What is the primary reason you are running for this office?

To help solve problems.

 

What will be your top three priorities if you get elected and why?

  1. Helping the City complete its Town Center
  2. Ensuring that the community is prepared for the 2015 US Open
  3. Public Safety
    All three of these things will help University Place enjoy a strong economic base.

 

What sets you apart from the other candidates and/or previous office holders?

I am a small business owner with 25 years of leadership experience.

 

How much money do you expect your campaign to spend on this election?

I’m grateful for the broad group of people and groups who have stepped forward to support my campaign, and I will spend the funds necessary to honor their endorsement.
