Halloween Trick-or-Treat Hours to Be Considered

The Greendale Village Board will vote on keeping the same hours for Halloween Trick-or-Treating as last year.

The Village heard postive response from residents, according to a memo from Village Manager Todd Michaels.

To kickoff the Village’s annual Halloween Trick-or-Treating, the Public Celebrations Committee coordinates a parade for the children. This year’s Halloween Parade will be on Sunday, October 28th starting at 3 p.m. followed by Trick-or-Treating at 4 p.m.

The parade is expected to attract over 500 children walking in costume and is expected to last 45-60 minutes.

The Village Board will make the final decision at Tuesday's Sept. 3 board meeting.

Other items in the agenda:

  • Proposed capital improvement plan for 2012 – 2022
  • Proposed change in staffing for the Clerk-Treasurer’s office
  • Step Up to Better Health Fun Run and Walk – Sunday October 21, 2012
