There is plenty for all at the 31st annual Harvest Festival at Trimborn Farm in Greendale.
Hosted by the Milwaukee County Historical Society, the Harvest Festival features games and activities, food and refreshments, and hand-crafted art from nearly 100 vendors from throughout the Midwest.
The 31st annual edition of the event is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 7-8.
Featured artists are carefully chosen based on their craftsmanship, originality, and design. Each artist is selected by a jury from a pool of applicants, ensuring display of only the highest quality pieces for sale and display. Visitors can shop for beautiful handmade quilts and other fiber art, handmade furniture, wearable art, jewelry, homemade jams, jellies, toffee, salsa, and sauces, and attractive seasonal flower arrangements and gifts.
Visitors are encouraged to take advantage of free parking at Southridge Mall. A complimentary shuttle is available to transport visitors between Southridge Mall and Trimborn Farm. There is also parking on the Trimborn Farm grounds.
Admission is $5 for adults. All proceeds go to the support of the Milwaukee County Historical Society for continuing educational and cultural programs.
Volunteers are welcome for a variety of duties and shifts throughout the weekend.
