The Menomonee Falls Indians girls volleyball team claimed the regional round crown in the WIAA playoffs Saturday.
The top-seeded Indians earned a first-round bye, and beat Kettle Moraine in three straight sets Saturday, 25-11, 25-14, 25-14. They’ll move on to the sectional round and line up against Mukwonago at 6 p.m. at Watertown High School. If Falls wins, they’ll face either Germantown or Watertown in the sectional championship game.
The Indians (38-8, 10-3 Greater Metro) have been led by standout Simone Lee, who has logged 5 kills per set on the season. They finished in second place behind Divine Savior Holy Angels.
