Sheriff David Clarke Calls for FOX 6 Ban, Watch CBS 58 Instead after 'Racist' and 'Hyper-Partisan' Coverage

Recent FOX 6 reports characterized as "fake news" by Sheriff David Clarke touch on overt racism and hyper-partisanship, the Sheriff says.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke is calling for the viewing public to boycott FOX 6 News and instead watch CBS 58 News after Clarke characterized recent FOX 6 coverage of him as "racist" and "hyper-partisan fake news."

In a zero-word press release issued to the media Tuesday that directed media to the Sheriff's Office Facebook page, Clarke advises news consumers to, "Refrain from watching FOX6 news and their obvious approval of racist references to me, and instead watch CBS58, a news source that while not perfect, seems to be a fairer and more accurate local news site."

At issue for Clarke is his observation that FOX 6 led a recent news broadcast "by covering a hyper-partisan political stunt by some clown Democrat freshman legislator named Crowley," but stood silent as Progressive political hack Robert Miranda took exception to Clarke's activity on social media by referring to the Sheriff using racially insensitive terms.

On Monday, State. Rep. David Crowley (D-Milwaukee) sent a letter to Gov. Scott Walker calling for the removal of Clarke from public office, citing the man who was "unlawfully detained, interrogated and escorted out of Mitchell Airport" because he shook his head at the Sheriff while on a flight home. Crowley went on to cite the two social media posts presented in this article as signs of "intimidation" and "personal attacks."
Clarke stated that FOX 6 "led their news by covering a hyper-partisan political stunt by some clown Democrat freshman legislator named Crowley."

Crowley's action was just the most recent action by Democratic lawmakers seeking Clarke's ouster.
In mid-December 2016, citing four deaths in the Milwaukee County Jail and intimidation via fiery rhetoric, State Sen. Chris Larson, State Rep. Jonathan Brostoff, and State Rep. Christine Sinicki publicly called for the removal of Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke from his post.

"Political Hack" Robert Miranda

According to a Monday Journal Sentinel report, Community activist Robert Miranda reportedly used a racially offensive term in a meme criticizing Clarke.

Miranda reportedly posted a picture of Clarke, stating "Yo Sheriff Coonflake! Calling people 'snowflake' and jigaboo' might land you a job with (Donald) Trump, You still a kneegrow to white nationalist," the Journal Sentinel had learned. Miranda's incendiary meme was removed by Tuesday afternoon.

But according to the Journal Sentinel, Miranda's post was a reaction to Clarke's own oft-colored social media posts that 1) use a racially offensive term and 2) imply violence against another person. Below are the two social media posts by Clarke:
