Suspect Turns Himself In After 3 Women Killed in Milwaukee Auto Accident
The women were passengers who called for an Uber driver. The occupants of the Lexus that struck them fled the scene on foot.

MILWAUKEE -- Three women were killed in a car crash at Second St. and Clybourn in Downtown Milwaukee early Sunday and the suspect in that crash has now turned himself in.
Jasen Randhawa, of Mequon, was being held in the Milwaukee County Jail on Tuesday. His bond amount is currently unspecified, and charges are pending, according to jail records.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examinerβs Office identified the women as Amy C. Taylor, 32, Ashley L. Sawatzke, 30, and Lindsey B. Cohen, 35. They accident was shortly after 2:30 a.m. according to the medical examinerβs office.

According to a report by Fox 6, Milwaukee police say the wreck happened around 2:45 a.m. A Lexus was southbound on 2nd Street when it apparently disregarded a solid red light and struck a Ford that was westbound on Clybourn. Officials say the two male occupants of the Lexus fled the scene on foot after the accident.

The women - two women from Illinois who were 32 and 30 years old - died at the scene as a result of the crash. The third woman, also in her 30s, died from her injuries at a nearby hospital.
The driver of the vehicle was acting as an Uber driver at the time of the crash.
