28-Year-Old Man Shot and Killed in Racine Friday

A 28-year-old man has been shot and killed in Racine on Friday and Racine police are asking for the public's help to locate a suspect.

RACINE -- A 28-year-old man has been shot and killed in Racine on Friday and Racine police are asking for the public's help to locate a suspect.

On Friday, November 11, 2016, the Racine Police Department responded to the 1800 block of Roosevelt Ave. for a call of a man lying on the ground unresponsive.

Officers and Racine Rescue located the individual but he could not be revived and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The victim is a 28 year old male who died from an apparent gunshot wound. The investigation is active and no further information is being released at this time.

Racine Police investigators are interested in any additional information that anyone may have about this crime.
