Oak Creek Man Busted In Drug Sting

A 42-year-old Oak Creek man is facing a felony drug charge after he allegedly sold marijuana to undercover police two different times.

David A. Lewandowski was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of delivering a controlled substance. If convicted, he could face up to 3 ½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint:

Undercover police set up a drug deal with Lewandowski in which they would purchase high-grade marijuana in the parking lot of a tavern near Highway 32 and Old Ryan Road. When they arrived, Lewandowski was standing in the parking lot and wearing a neck brace, and walked to the officer's car and conducted the deal.

The officer set up a second deal with Lewandowski on Dec. 19, agreeing to meet at a gas station on Chicago Road. Lewandowski told the officer he didn't remember him from the last time and wanted to move the deal to .

He was then taken into custody and admitted to "middling" marijuana sales for a short period of time.

Lewandowski is currently free on $1,000 cash bail.
