Oak Creek Man Dies After Suffering Life-Threatening Emergency on the Job

OAK CREEK, WI — A tragedy happened at a local company May 2 after a man suffered a life-threatening medical emergency while on the job.

Oak Creek police responded to Superior Die Set, 900 W. Drexel Ave. on May 2 for a death investigation.

According to police reports, a 911 caller told police just after 7 p.m. on May 2, that a man was laying next to a machine that he had been working on and they were unsure whether he was awake or breathing.

Oak Creek police and fire were dispatched to the company.

As authorities were en route, a second person got on the line and told emergency workers that there was a weak pulse and the man was turning blue.

The first-responding officer performed CPR and medical responsibilities were turned over to Oak Creek Fire when they arrived on scene.

The man was transported to Wheaton Franklin where he was pronounced deceased just before 8 p.m. The cause of death was not available.
