Oak Creek Man Dies in Industrial Accident at Ladish on Thursday
A 49-year-old Oak Creek man was killed and a 48-year-old Cudahy man was seriously injured as a result of an industrial accident Thursday.
CUDAHY -- A 49-year-old Oak Creek man was killed and a 48-year-old Cudahy man was seriously injured as a result of an industrial accident Thursday at ATI Ladish Forging in Cudahy.
According to a report by the Milwaukee Biz Times, a spokesperson for Ladish confirmed the death, but declined to offer specifics. The Milwaukee County medical examiner responded to the accident around 2:30 p.m. A 48-year-old Cudahy man has been hospitalized, according to WISN 12.
Ladish makes engineered metal components for jet engines, aerospace and industrial markets.

The Biz Times is reporting that an OSHA investigator was at the site conducting an investigation alongside authorities. OSHA has cited Ladish for 13 safety violations since 2007.
