Semi-Truck Fire Snarls I-94/41 Traffic: Report
The northbound lanes of I-94/41 have been reduced as crews tend to a semi-truck fire. Long delays have been reported.
OAK CREEK, WI — A semi-truck fire has been reported on I-41/94 at Ryan Road in Oak Creek Tuesday morning, resulting in long traffic backups and lengthy delays.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the fire was reported at about 8:30 a.m. and two of three northbound lanes have been shut down as fire and rescue crews tended to the semi.
There is no word yet what caused the semi-truck to catch fire or whether there were any injuries as a result of the blaze.
