Oak Shores Fire
Oak Creek police and fire responded to the Oak Shores apartment on Nov. 10 on a report of a fire.
According to the police report, an apartment resident was cooking diner with oil on the stove when the stove caught fire.
Oak Creek fire advised there was no fire damage to anything, however the fire caused the sprinkler system to go off, causing water damage to multiple units.

Tire Slasher Arrested
An Oak Creek man was arrested after he was reportedly observed - then photographed by an eyewitness - stabbing tires on a vehicle near the Pick 'n Save on Howell Ave. on Nov. 10.
According to the report, the male subject was observed attempting to stab tires in the area and attempting to elude police, first by hiding behind Auto Zone, then by Urgent Care.
Oak Creek police caught up with the suspect after he fled inside Oak Creek high school just after 1 p.m. on the 10th.
He at first denied causing the damage, but was identified by the photos taken by the eyewitness. He was taken into custody and issued charges for criminal damage to property.
