An argument over what's for dinner probably wasn't what the creators of 911 had in mind when they devised the system.
But a 66-year-old Oak Creek woman called 911 about 4:30 p.m. March 6 because her kids were mad at her about what she served for dinner, according to the Oak Creek Police Department logbook.
The woman told police her children got into a food fight the night before and now were angry because she brought home pizza but didn't get breadsticks.
"(The woman) would like officers to come and speak to her children and advise them they should eat whatever she cooks or brings home for dinner without putting up a fuss," according to the logbook.
The woman told police she has numerous health problems and doesn't need to be arguing.
Police provided her with options on how she could address the problem.
