Police: Man Grabs Teen at Park, Charged With Sexual Assault

An 18-year-old Grafton man is facing charges after he allegedly touched a 14-year-old girl's genitals inside the bathroom at a Saukville park.

Joshua M. Wimmer was charged in Ozaukee County Circuit Court on Friday with one count of fourth-degree sexual assault and one count of disorderly conduct. If convicted, he faces up to one year in prison and $11,000 in fines.

At 6:37 p.m. Sept. 13, Wimmer and the victim were at Grady Park and kissing on a park bench, when he took her and led her into a nearby bathroom, the complaint said. Inside the bathroom they continued to kiss, then Wimmer put his hands down her pants and touched the girl’s genitals.

She told him to stop and he did, but police were alerted to the incident, according to the complaint. Wimmer admitted to the incident when asked by police officers.

Wimmer is set to appear in court at 8:45 a.m. Nov. 5.
