JOHNSON CREEK, WI — An armed naked man who was fatally shot by police at Johnson Creek and who was also implicated in a Waukesha County carjacking has been identified as 34-year-old Randy Engstrom of Milwaukee.
According to the Waukesha County Sheriff's office, at approximately 12:43 p.m., the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office received a call of an armed carjacking at the I94 & Meadowbrook Park and Ride.

Engstrom left the Park & Ride in the stolen vehicle and entered I-94 westbound.
The description of the vehicle and the subject was given out over the radio at which time a City of Delafield Police Officer observed a vehicle matching the description traveling westbound I-94 approaching Highway 83. The suspect vehicle exited on highway 83 northbound for a short time, made a U-turn and then drove back on I94 westbound from Highway 83.

At this point, several Waukesha County squads as well as the City of Delafield Squad were in pursuit of the vehicle.
The pursuit continued westbound on I-94 eventually entering Jefferson County. With the assistance of State Patrol, stop sticks were deployed on I-94 east of Highway F. Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and Johnson Creek Police Department assisted the other squads in the pursuit as it continued on I-94 toward Johnson Creek.
While the stop sticks effectively deflated the tires of the vehicle, Engstrom continued to flee from the officers. As the vehicle gradually slowed down, the operator waved the gun out of the window toward the officers on several occasions.
The vehicle subsequently exited I-94 at highway 26, continued northbound and then pulled into the Arby's parking lot.
