Car vs. House on Grandview

A 27-year-old man suffered a bloody face but was otherwise ok after the silver Chevrolet Cavalier he was driving reportedly struck a house on the 200 block of N. Grandview Blvd. late Thursday night.

Fire on Springdale

Waukesha police and fire responded to an apartment on the 2400 block of Springdale Rd. just after 12:30 p.m. Thursday on a report of a fire.
According to the report, an apartment resident observed that part of a fellow resident's balcony was on fire. The person who called police tried to knock on the door of the apartment unit where the fire was taking place, but received no answer, prompting a call into police.
Police and fire responded, and by 12:44 p.m. the fire had been extinguished.
