Town of Waukesha residents Mike Doerr and Jim Radke are the newest members to the town’s Board of Supervisors.
Doerr defeated former Chairwoman Angie Van Scyoc by 1,205 votes to 1,072 votes, or by 53 percent of the vote. Ratke defeated incumbent Joe Banske by 1,171 votes to 1,098 votes, or by 52 percent of the vote.
Results are unofficial until canvassing.
Van Scyoc was defeated as town chairwoman in April 2013. Both Van Scyoc and Banske were successful in recalling two-thirds of the Town of Waukesha Board of Supervisor over the Waukesha Water Utility’s attempts to purchase land in the town to build shallow wells.
"I got 1098 votes. Jim received 1171. That's 73 votes more for him than me," Banske posted on his Facebook account after the election. "Oh well. Seems like God is pointing me in a different direction."
