Family Dollar Robbed at Gunpoint

The Waukesha Police Department is looking for a suspect after Family Dollar, 139 E. Broadway, was robbed at gunpoint, according to the Waukesha Police Department.

The store was robbed at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday by an unknown man with a handgun. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured in the incident, according to Police Sgt. Joe Hendricks.

Hendricks provided the following information about the robbery:

Officers searched the surrounding area with the assistance of a Waukesha County Sheriff K-9 unit but did not locate the suspect.  Anyone with information in regards to this incident should call 262-524-3831.

A description of the suspect is an unknown male, approximately 6 feet tall, average build, wearing a dark jacket, black ski-mask, and a gray hooded sweatshirt.
