Update: Vicitim Identified in Highway 16 Crash
76-year-old man who died in accident was reportedly traveling with his two elementary school-aged grandchildren.

WAUKESHA COUNTY β The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department says the 76-year-old man who died when the pickup truck he was driving in was reportedly struck by a car driven by a 30-year-old Waukesha man, was Paul Parsons, of Berlin.
According to a report by the Lake County NOW, the accident happened in the Delafield area near highways 16 and 83.

Both cars left the roadway following the collision, a news release said, struck a guardrail and then a bridge pillar. After striking the pillar, the pickup truck rolled over. There were two children inside the truck with the Berlin man.

Half a dozen police departments and three local fire departments responded to the scene, according to the release.
The 77-year-old man was reportedly pronounced dead after being transported via Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa. The two children who were traveling in his truck with him were injured, but taken to the hospital, treated for their injuries and later released.
The Sheriff's Department is continuing their investigation into the cause of the crash.
