Package Thief Confronted by Postal Carrier
When a man came up to take a package from a home on Scott Ave., the postal worker thought it was suspicious - and called police.
WAUKESHA, WI — A Waukesha postal carrier had to contact a home resident himself after a package thief attempted to steal the package on the 600 block of Scott Ave.
According to the police report, the male suspect tried to steal the package from the house at the same time the post office worker was making the delivery.
The postal carrier reportedly confronted him and told him it wasn't his. The suspect said it was his cousins, and left it and fled in a gray Saturn.

Police went looking for the suspect's vehicle and ultimately caught up with it - only to find that a different person was driving the car. It was unknown where the original suspect went.
