Gynecologist Found Guilty of Inappropriate Touching

A Whitefish Bay gynecologist has been found guilty of inappropriately touching his patients during medical appointments.

Evan Saunders, 48, was found guilty of four counts of fourth degree sexual assault and four counts of disorderly conduct on Friday afternoon, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The jury found Saunders guilty of all charges brought forward by four women, who alleged Saunders touched their genitals in an inappropriate manner and made inappropriate sexual remarks, according to the newspaper.

Saunders testified that some of the alleged conversations took place and were medical-related. He denied other statements the victims attributed to him, according to the newspaper.

A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for Nov. 15, according to online court records.
