Meet Jack Wepfer, New High School Teacher and Coach

The UW-Oshkosh grad will teach English and coach football at Whitefish Bay High School this upcoming school year.

Meet Jack Wepfer, New High School Teacher and Coach

The Whitefish Bay School District hired 22 new teachers this year, and Whitefish Bay Patch hopes to introduce all of them to the community before the school year gets underway.

You can read their stories here.

Today, we will introduce you to teacher Jack Wepfer.

Teaching position: Whitefish Bay High School-I will be teaching English and coaching football.

Hometown/Current community: I'm originally from Kenosha, Wisconsin, and I'm currently looking to relocate to Bay View.

Education/Experience: I went to UW-Oshkosh where I studied English and Journalism. I have spent time working at Oshkosh North High School and Maplewood Middle School in Menasha.

Do you have any connection to Whitefish Bay? I do not have any connection to Whitefish Bay, however, I'm looking forward to helping this great community.

Hobbies: I enjoy sports, music, and writing (among other things). I recently started trying to build small furniture pieces--emphasis on the word "trying."

Favorite vacation spot: My family staple is to go up to Manitowish in Vilas County and fish the chain. I have great memories up there.
