Uber Driver Arrested After Harassing Females, Running From Whitefish Bay Police

A 21-year-old Elm Grove resident was cited for disorderly conduct and prowling/loitering related to the incident.

WHITEFISH BAY -- A 21-year-old Elm Grove resident was cited for disorderly conduct and prowling/loitering after police responded to a report of an Uber driver harassing several females.

Whitefish Bay police responded to the area of N. Shoreland Ave. and E. Lancaster Ave. on the morning of Oct. 9 after the driver was reported harassing several females. According to police, the man, later identified as Benjamin W. Stewart, fled squads westbound on Fairmount Ave. from Santa Monica behind the apartment building.

Stewart was taken into custody following a foot chase in the alley behind 4819 N. Shoreland Ave. He was booked, cited and later released.
