• Birmingham Police searching for missing 71-year-old man (wbrc.com) — Birmingham police are asking for your help finding 71-year-old Clisby S. Jones Jr., last contacted Friday and last known to be near the 1700 block of Woodcrest Road in Birmingham. He may be driving a white 2002 Chevrolet Equinox with tag 1C101BPA and is believed to be in the early stages of dementia. Anyone with information is urged to call Birmingham Police or 911 immediately.    

• Sewell, Booker push back on Alabama redistricting at Birmingham town hall (wbrc.com) — Birmingham residents just heard from Rep. Terri Sewell and Sen. Cory Booker at a Boutwell Auditorium town hall challenging Alabama’s new redistricting push. Local and national Democratic leaders, including Mayor Randall Woodfin, warned that proposed maps could dilute Black voting power and urged residents to stay engaged as lawmakers meet in a special session.
