β’ Federal grant to fund cleanup of contaminated Saraland site for sports complex (fox10tv.com) β Brewton properties are among those the South Alabama Regional Planning Commission will assess for contamination using new federal Brownfields funding, potentially opening the door to future redevelopment opportunities. While most of the money cleans up a Saraland site for a sports complex, Brewton landowners can now seek help determining whether environmental issues might complicate buying or reusing local properties.
