• Opioid funds bring new support to Elmore County families (elmoreautauganews.com) — Elmore County is directing $50,000 in opioid settlement funds to Butterfly Bridge Children's Advocacy Center to expand trauma-informed counseling and support for local kids and caregivers affected by addiction. The partnership will provide forensic interviews, therapy, and family resources for residents across Elmore County, aiming to address long-term emotional impacts rather than just immediate crises.
   

• Elmore County leaders cut ribbon to new government complex (waka.com) — Elmore County has opened a new $14 million law enforcement and judicial administrative building in Wetumpka, giving residents a larger, modern space to handle permits, fines, and passport renewals. The sheriff's and circuit clerk's offices move into the second floor, while a planned second phase will renovate the old complex to add two new judges.
