• Hoover's Spain Park High School Wins Abu Garcia High School Fishing Presented by Tackle Warehouse Open on Lake Guntersville Presented by Columbia PFG (anglerschannel.com) — Student anglers from Grant's DAR Patriots Fishing Club earned an impressive fifth-place finish at a major high school bass tournament on Lake Guntersville, securing a spot at the 2027 High School Fishing National Championship. Spain Park High School from Hoover took first, but six teams, including the Grant duo, advanced from this no-entry-fee event hosted by Marshall County Tourism and Sports.
