Hoover Police Arrest Two Men In Armed Robbery

The Hoover Police Department made two arrests in regard to an armed robbery that occurred last week.

HOOVER, AL - Hoover Police have arrested two individuals involved in an armed robbery that occurred last week. On December 28 at 4:25 P.M., officers responded to the Park at Galleria apartments after a victim reported he was robbed by two males at gunpoint.

The victim told officers he was approached by the suspects as he entered the breezeway of the 200 building. Both suspects produced handguns and demanded money from him. After taking cash from the victim, the suspects left the area on foot.

The victim identified Dewayne Fitzgerald Bias and Tyrone Dewayne Hendrix Jr. as the suspects who robbed him, and officers located Bias in the 2900 block of Rime Village Drive at 5:10 p.m. and took him into custody, and Hendrix was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force at 7:25 a.m. yesterday in the 4000 block of Hickory Drive in Pinson. Both suspects were released on bond from the Jefferson County Jail.
