Hoover Police Looking For Shoplifting Suspect

Hoover detectives are trying to identify a woman caught on security cameras shoplifting at the Belk store at the Galleria.

HOOVER, AL - The Hoover Police Department is trying to identify a woman caught on security cameras shoplifting at the Belk store in the Galleria. The woman is described as being white, with a tattoo on her neck. The incident occurred on January 12.

According to reports, the suspect concealed items and passed the last point of sale without attempting to pay. She then struggled with loss prevention before getting into a white four-door vehicle. The value of the stolen merchandise is estimated at $159.97.
